Toyota NS4 advanced plug-in Hybrid concept, the “Vision of the Future” of Toyota has been revealed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last month. Although quite focused on new technology, particularly in advanced powertrain and next generation connectivity, the NS4 concept is also a design concept signaling a new styling direction for Toyota.

The powertrain of the Toyota NS4‘s plug-in hybrid (PIH) improved all aspects of PIH systems by reducing component size and weight. Innovative technology features of the Toyota NS4 include a human-machine interface (HMI) infotainment system, side view cameras that provide a panoramic rear view, and special glass technologies which eliminate rain drops, prevent fog, provide 99 percent UV protection and the application of an Anti-solar film which improves electronic device functionality.

Toyota NS4 plug-in hybrid concept illustrates how Toyota is aiming to be the world leader in fuel efficiency, extending its ambitions beyond its successful Prius brand. Also, the Toyota NS4 added the line up of the Toyota’s eco-friendly cars. Toyota NS4 told to be Toyota’s future styling direction, sporting the aerodynamics of a modified triangle and a floating lower spoiler.
